Mallard Madness Goes Country
Lee Brice, one of country music’s hottest young artists, will headline Mallard Madness on May 2 at Matthew Knight Arena presented by the Student Activities and Resource Center (SARC) of the University of Oregon. Cole Swindell will be joining Brice in Eugene for the Friday night show, along with Sarah Davidson. Tickets priced at $25.50 and $35.50 will go on sale beginning at 10 a.m. this Friday, April 4 at the Matthew Knight Arena ticket office, online at matthewknightarena.com, at all Tickets West outlets and by calling 800-992-8499.
Lee Brice is currently nominated in four categories for the upcoming ACM awards. His highest-charting single is "A Woman Like You", which reached No. 1 in April 2012. He also had Billboard's Top Country Song of 2010 with "Love Like Crazy", the title track to his 2010 debut album; the song spent 56 weeks on the Hot Country Songs chart, peaking at No. 3 and setting a record for the longest run in the chart's history. His second album, Hard 2 Love, has produced No. 1 singles in "A Woman Like You" "Hard to Love," and "I Drive Your Truck."
Cole Swindell is known for his 2013 breakout hit “Chillin’ It”.
Sarah Davidson, one of the stars of TNT’s Private Lives of Nashville Wives, recently released her debut single “Drink You Up”.
Mallard Madness is a spring concert produced by the SARC at the University of Oregon and seeks to bring some of the hottest concert acts to the Eugene campus. The 2013 Mallard Madness featured Macklemore and Ryan Lewis.
